The Professional Fighters League (PFL) is returning to Atlantic City for the second half of their 2019 regular season and they are bringing more to AC than just great fights this summer.  The PFL has announced that a portion of ticket sales will be donated to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission (ACRM) under its “PFL Fights for Community” platform.  The PFL is back at the Ocean Resort Casino for the second straight summer, bringing three jam-packed fight cards to Ovation Hall.  In addition to a monetary donation PFL fighters, talent and staff will take part in various Atlantic City Rescue Mission activities in the community on the Tuesdays before each Thursday Night PFL event.

The PFL is the first organization ever to present Mixed Martial Arts competition through a Regular Season, Playoffs and Championship format where individual fighters control their own destiny.  Fighters are awarded points based on winning fights by either submission or TKO/KO finish, wins by decision, and then the top eight fighters in each weight class advance to the single-elimination PFL Playoffs in October.  Fighters must fight twice and win twice in the same night to advance to the finals.  The PFL Championship is on New Year’s Eve with the winners of each title bout being crowned PFL World Champion of their respective weight class and each fighter earning One Million Dollars.

Peter Murray, CEO of the PFL, joined Josh Hennig on Sports Bash Saturday to discuss the second half of the regular season coming to Atlantic City, their work with the AC Rescue Mission this summer, and more.

You can purchase tickets to PFL’s three fight cards at Ocean Resort Casino now at Ticketmaster.com.
