The Philadelphia Eagles could be getting some more help on the defensive side of the ball for the final stretch of the season and the playoffs.

The team has opened the 21-day practice window for edge rusher Bryce Huff, who underwent wrist surgery back in November. The team will have a 21-day window to activate the pass rusher or place him back on the IR.

Huff was placed on IR after the team's Nov 14 win against the Commanders. The fifth-year pro has missed the team’s last four games and was playing with a hard cast on his injured wrist before finally getting surgery.

He was signed in the offseason to provide more pass rush after the team moved Haason Reddick. Huff had a career-high 29 tackles, ten tackles for loss, and ten sacks for the Jets in 2023, but struggled to get going in 2024 for Philadelphia before the injury put him on the sidelines.

This season Huff has 2.5 sacks and 11 QB hurries in 10 games.

If he can come back from the wrist injury and provide some more pass rush, he could be a good replacement for Brandon Graham, who is out for the season with a torn triceps suffered in the team's Week 12 win over the Rams and is out for the season.

The team could use the depth on the edge, with Nolan Smith, Josh Sweat, and rookie Jalyx Hunt getting most of the reps.

The team also announced they have signed tight end Kevin Foelsch to the practice squad.
