NFL teams had to get their rosters down from 90 to 85 players today, and the Philadelphia Eagles released two players Sunday afternoon and three more today.

The Eagles cut offensive lineman Will Dunkle and edge rusher Ali Fayad over the weekend and today parted ways with cornerback Jimmy Moreland, wide receiver Lance Lenoir and safety Jared Mayden, the team announced.

He played in 37 games over the past three years with Washington and Houston. The 2019 seventh-round pick did not play in Friday’s preseason opener against the New York Jets on Friday night.
