Philadelphia Phillies to Face New York Mets in London Series in 2024
The Philadelphia Phillies will head over the pond during the 2024 MLB season with two games in London against the New York Mets.
The Phillies will face the Mets at London Stadium on June 8-9. The London series started back in 2019 and featured the Red Sox taking on the Yankees. The series has been on hiatus, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but returns this season with the Cubs and Cardinals facing off this weekend.
This will be the first time the Phillies will play outside of the United States, with the Mets playing out of the US on multiple occasions, playing games in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Japan.
The Phillies did play the Mets at Bowman Field in the MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, which is home of the Little League World Series. Philadelphia will play in the Little League Classic again this season against the Washington Nationals on Sunday, August 20th.
The Phillies and Mets face each other in Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park this weekend for a three-game series.
