The Phillies have made a roster move ahead of their three-game series with the Colorado Rockies on Monday, selecting the contract of center fielder Roman Quinn from Lehigh Valley and optioned infielder Bryson Stott to Triple-A.

Quinn adds another outfielder to the mix, but the bigger story is Stott heading back to the minors. He had a tremendous Spring Training, but it did not translate to the regular season, as he was hitting just .133 with a 10 strikeouts in 31 plate appearances on the season.

However, with Alec Bohm swinging a hot bat and the emergence of Johan Camargo, playing time for Stott has been sparse, and is better served to play every day down in Lehigh.

Stott got off to a hot start, but is just 4-for-30
