According to Matt Gelb of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Phillies will promote Maikel Franco on Tuesday.

Franco, 22,  got off to a sluggish start this season at Triple-A Lehigh Valley, but he's hit .324 with a .922 OPS, 11 home runs, and 47 RBI in 54 games since the beginning of July. The Phillies top prospect had a horrendous start to his season, as he batted just .209/.367/.318 with 22 extra-base hits (five home runs) over the first three months of the season (78 games).

Overall, Franco has 16 home runs this season after hitting 31 in 2013

Franco could make his major league debut Tuesday night against Braves left-hander Mike Minor, the question will be where will he play?
