A popular seafood restaurant with locations in Ventnor and Ocean City has announced it is for sale.

PJ Buckets Owners Announce Retirement Due to Health Reasons

PJ Buckets, which is located at 115 N. Dorsett Ave in Ventnor and at 621 8th and Ocean in Ocean City, posted on social media that they were not going out of business, but they are looking for a buyer who will keep the places open.

The business stressed that they are not closing, but looking to retire due to an illness.

We created a successful 5 year business with an unbelievable staff and a great reputation

Due to illness we are looking to retire and sell both Ventnor and Ocean City.

Our hope is that the businesses continue as they should

We’re NOT CLOSING we’re simply hoping for someone to purchase and continue

A South Jersey Shore Culinary Favorite

PJ Buckets was one of my 10 must-try places from Atlantic City to Cape May for their popular lobster roll. They also serve seafood boils as well as a variety of sandwiches and sides that are delicious as well.

It is a great little spot that we hope someone takes over and continues in both locations.
