The Philadelphia Eagles are likely to place defensive back Cre'Von LeBlanc on injured reserve ahead of the team’s Monday Night Football matchup with the Seattle Seahawks, according to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network.

LeBlanc will be held out for at least three weeks due to a high ankle sprain, suffered in the team’s loss in Cleveland on Sunday.

With LeBlanc out, the team is a bit thin at the slot corner spot behind Nickell Robey-Coleman. One idea could be to shift safety Jalen Mills back to outside corner and use Avonte Maddox, who has struggled on the outside, into LeBlanc's role.  In that case, the defense could use Will Parks in Mills safety spot.

So far in 2020, LeBlanc's registered 22 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
