According to veteran NFL reporter Aaron Wilson, the team has interest in bringing in veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett as a backup to Jalen Hurts.

Brissett, who spent time with Eagles head coach, Nick Sirianni in Indianapolis, started 11 games for the Browns in 2022. He was 4-7, throwing for 2608 yards, 12 touchdowns and six picks for Cleveland. He added 49 carries for 243 yards and two touchdowns and would give the Eagles more of a dual-threat behind Hurts.

Brissett, 30, has played in 76 NFL games and would give the Eagles a veteran backup to Hurts. He has 48 total touchdowns in seven NFL seasons.
