The Eagles will be without running back Jay Ajayi for rest of the season with a torn ACL, and Howie Roseman could be working the phones for find a replacement.

According to Buffalo TV station WIVB Sports Director, Josh Reed, the Eagles have "reached out" to the Bills about a possible trade with Buffalo.

McCoy rushed 24 times for 85 yards and caught two passes for 23 yards in the Bills' Week 5 win over the Titans.  On the season, the former Eagles running back has 45 carries for 170 yards and 10 catches for 64 yards.

One area he would help is in pass protection, where McCoy is a pretty good blocking back in the pass game.

McCoy, 30, has two more seasons left on his deal.

Other names that have been rumored are Le'Veon Bell, though ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Eagles "have not pursued a trade" for holdout.  Also, Arizona running back David Johnson's name has surfaced.

For the Eagles, Corey Clement, did participate in Tuesday's practice, Darren Sproles did not.
