Just 24 Hours after the Philadelphia Eagles traded Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts, the next domino to fall this offseason appears to be Desean Jackson's second tenure in Philadelphia appears to be over:

The 34 year old Wide Receiver has only appeared in eight games over the last two seasons compiling 23 Catches for 395 Yards and Three Touchdowns after he sustained multiple injuries during his second go-around with the Eagles.

Releasing Desean Jackson creates 5.8 Million Dollars in Cap Space for the Eagles who have a lot of difficult decisions to make this offseason to make sure they can get under the 2021 NFL Salary Cap.  On Thursday morning, NFL teams were informed that the 2021 Salary Cap will at minimum be going up to 180 Million Dollars

When the Eagles brought back Desean Jackson before the 2019 season, the hope was that he would be the deep threat the offense needed to keep defenses accountable after Jackson led the NFL three of the previous five seasons is Receiving Yards Per Catch during his time playing in Tampa and Washington.

Jackson is leaving Philadelphia as one of the best Wide Receivers in franchise history ranking Third all-time in Receiving Yards (6,512), Ninth in Receiving Touchdowns (35), and Sixth in Catches (379) in 95 Career Games in an Eagles uniform.
