With the 2012 NHL Draft taking place today in Pittsburgh, Flyers GM Paul Holmgren is sure to have some moves up his place.

It will be a year ago tomorrow, June 23rd that Holmgren traded away Mike Richards and Jeff Carter on the same day.

NHL Insider Darren Dreger reported that the Flyers are closing in on a deal that will send backup goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for draft picks.

The Blue Jackets currently own two picks in the second round of this year's draft, No. 31 and no. 45.

The Flyers are reportedly linked to Ducks winger Bobby Ryan and Blue Jackets RW Rick Nash.
