As NFL free agency opens on Monday, with the legal tampering period, many people are focusing on the Eagles' big three remaining free agents: Makhi Becton, Josh Sweat, and Milton Williams.

However, there is another name that could be on the move: free agent cornerback Isaiah Rodgers. Rodgers, 27, got plenty of snaps in place of Darius Slay throughout the season and started three games with Slay's absence.

According to Giants beat writer Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Rodgers could be on the Giants' radar in free agency.

Rodgers is an interesting name to watch with Slay's future in Philadelphia in doubt. The team released Slay last week, and he is now a free agent. Slay has said he'd like to return, but the team could look to bring back Rodgers to replace him if the price is to steep.

Rodgers came to Philadelphia after being released by the Indianapolis Colts in June of 2023 for violations of the league's gambling policy. He sat out the entire 2023 season due to his suspension and was reinstated ahead of the 2024 season.

Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio showed confidence in him using him as the first corner regardless of which side he played.

"I have total confidence in him if he plays," Fangio stated during the Eagles playoff run. He was a guy that all during OTAs and training camp was doing very well. Then he broke his hand and was out for a few weeks. Was slow to recover from that, meaning when he came back he wasn't playing at the same level he was prior."

He is also a key contributor to the Eagles special teams unit and would be missed in that capacity.
