Report: Seumalo Likely Done for the Season, Wallace Out Multiple Weeks
Suddenly, injuries to the Philadelphia Eagles roster heading into Week 4 of the 2021 season are starting to mount up.
First reported by NFL Network NFL Insider Tom Pelissero, Eagles safety K'Von Wallce suffered a partially separated shoulder in Monday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys and will miss at least the next three weeks. He injured the shoulder after tackling Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliot in the first quarter and did not return.
Wallace joins a growing list of Eagles players who’ve been stung by the injury bug the past two weeks, including fellow safety Rodney McLeod, who’s currently out while recovering from offseason ACL surgery.
Philadelphia, which started the season with all five starting offensive lineman healthy, finished the game on Monday with just two starters after left guard Isaac Seumalo exited Week 3 against the Cowboys with a foot injury and did not return.
According to reports, Seumalo suffered a Lisfranc injury and is out for the year.
Nate Herbig replaced Seumalo at left guard with Landon Dickerson playing right guard in place of Brandon Brooks, who is out with a pec injury. Those two could flip this week. Andre Dillard started at left tackle in place of Jordan Mailata and played well, allowing just two pressures on 53 pass-blocking snaps per PFF.
