Report: Sixers to face NBA Champion Celtics on Christmas Day
The Philadelphia Sixers will be in Boston for a Christmas Day showdown with the NBA Champion Celtics, as part of a five game slate, according to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The last time the two rivals met on Christmas was 2018, when the Celtics beat the Sixers 121-114.
Over the franchise’s history, the Sixers are 19-14 on Christmas, this will be the second time they have played the Celtics on Christmas.
Here’s the rest of the Christmas Day slate, according to Charania:
Spurs at New York Knicks
Minnesota Timberwolves at Dallas Mavericks
Philadelphia 76ers at Celtics
Lakers at Golden State Warriors
Here is the Sixers all-time history on Christmas Day.
