Roller Coaster Ride for Phillies Fans this week

Most people love roller coaster rides; In the summer the amusement parks at the Jersey Shore are packed and the roller coaster is one of the most popular rides each year.  But the roller coaster ride the Phillies have taken us on isn’t fun at all.  Climbing two games above .500 only to lose three in a row is maddening!  The Phillies have three more to go against the Atlanta Braves this weekend and winning games in your division is critical, especially the next three against the Braves.  Plus don't forget about their upcoming four game series versus the Washington Nationals next week.

The Philadelphia Eagles players are reporting to camp on July 27th; That's just days away!!  The Eagles new coaching staff will try to turn last year's 4-11-1 team around into winners for the 2021 NFL season.

The Flyers have been making moves as the 2021 NHL draft approaches this weekend. They are sending Defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere with draft picks to Arizona for....Nothing??  This comes days after the organization acquired Defenseman Ryan Ellis in a three-team trade that landed former Second Overall Pick Nolan Patrick in Las Vegas and Phil Myers in Nashville.

Finally the 2021 Summer Lifeguard Racing Season is heating up ahead of Friday Night's Atlantic City Classic.  Beach Patrols from Cape May Point to Brigantine will compete for the title at 6:30pm on Albany Ave in Atlantic City.  This weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim we will cover it all!!

On Saturday’s show Scott McKay and I will talk the latest with the Phillies, the Eagles, the Flyers and of course don't miss this week's Beach Patrol report.  Plus we have a special guest on Saturday: The Tampa Bay Lighting won the 2021 Stanley Cup and we will visit with a South Jersey native who hails from Robbinsville, Ross Colton.  Ross scored the game winning goal that in Game Five that clinched the series for Tampa!!  Truly a great story.

On Sunday’s show Josh Hennig will produce and co-host the show as we talk more Flyers hockey with Charlie O’Connor from the Athletic.  We will get his thoughts on the Flyers Offseason so far. Plus the Phillies and Eagles will round out the Show topics!
