Scullville Fire Dept Gives Junkyard Terror a (Severed) Thumbs Up
Good news, Halloween lovers. Terror is back in the Junkyard this year.
The Scullville Volunteer Fire company made the announcement on Facebook this weekend that they plan to hold their 19th annual "Terror in the Junkyard" Halloween attraction and fire company fundraiser after canceling it last year because of lingering health concerns from the coronavirus.
The Scullville Volunteer Fire Company released a Facebook statement saying...
2021 TERROR IN THE JUNKYARD Haunted Hayride and Maze is ON!! Starting October 1st.
Volunteer registration will start August 18th, 21st and 26th.
More information will be posted shortly….
The haunted hayride and maze, held at Flemings Junkyard on Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township, has become one of the area's most popular Halloween attractions over the past 18 years as well as a major fundraiser for the volunteer fire company.
It is also a rite of Fall for the firemen, actors, and volunteers who make up the cast of the month-long Halloween production and the crowds of fans who plan their weekend around a trip to Scullville.
Last year, in announcing the event's cancellation, the dark and creative forces behind Terror in The Junkyard promised not to sit idly by during the off-year, and to work overtime to make the 2021 Terror in the Junkyard one to remember with a blood-curdling scream.
Although the hayride won't be going on as planned, it doesn't mean we're taking a year off. We're going to use this break-in-the-action to work on infrastructure, new haunts, and anything else we can cook up in the meantime to make next year's return bigger and scarier than ever. Thank you all for your support over the years and we absolutely can not wait to see you next year!
Well, it sounds like we are going to see what new terror awaits in the junkyard this Halloween.
