Secret New Jersey destination gaining attention from travel experts
One of the reasons why New Jersey has the nickname "The Garden State" is because of the many great beach towns, and state parks for people to enjoy the great outdoors.
The hundreds of thousands of people visit New Jersey Shore Towns like Cape May, Ocean City, Asbury Park, and Seaside Heights for vacations and weekend getaways every year. Tens of thousands more people visit New Jersey State Parks to walk nature trails and go camping.
We all have our favorite New Jersey Coastal Communities and walking areas when the weather is warm enough. But one travel site claims that New Jersey's best-kept secret is located in-between two of the Top Rated Family-Friendly South Jersey Towns.
Where In South Jersey Is A Must Visit When The Weather Gets Warm Again?
Two of the best Family-Friendly Shore Towns, Ocean City and Sea Isle City, have a unique state park that is located in-between the popular Coastal Communities.
Established in 1969, Corson's Inlet State Park stretches from the southern end of Ocean City to the small beaches and fishing areas connected by Ocean Drive en route to the community north of Sea Isle City, Strathmere.
According to the travel experts at Islands.com, Corson's Inlet State Park is a great destination for Bird Watching, and the beaches are "quiet and peaceful". Since most of the State Park's 341-acres are protected natural reserves, the areas that are accessible to visitors are far enough removed from the general population area to allow nature to live without human expansion and interference.
Also, Corson's Inlet State Park runs along popular waterways for boating, kayaking, jet skis, and swimming. So if you were to visit the beaches or nature walks, you will likely to see and hear water activities during the warmer months in South Jersey.
