The Philadelphia 76ers and Flyers will take center stage this weekend while the Eagles have the weekend off thanks to their Bye Week.  The Birds are 8-1 and will take advantage of the bye to heal and rest ahead of the tough stretch of their schedule.  The Eagles record doesn’t reflect how hard the journey has been; Each win hasn’t been pretty but one thing is for sure, the Eagles are the best team in the NFL.  A.J.Brown has already eclipsed 1000 yards this year and Quarterback Jalen Hurts despite his eight INT’s and three fumbles is top ten in the NFL in Passing Yards, Passing Touchdowns, and Passer Rating as he continues to be the engine that runs this offense.

The Philadelphia 76ers are surprisingly good early in the NBA season.  They have the best record in the Eastern Conference (6-1) entering Friday Night's game versus the Detroit Pistons.  Philadelphia passed their first "big test" Wednesday night by beating their arch nemesis Boston Celtics 106-103 in an ugly shooting game for both teams.  The pairing of Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid have exceeded my expectations so far and they are fun to watch!

The Flyers who we have absolutely no expectations this year also have an energy that has been captivating to watch.  After 11 games they are 5-7-1 and have a young team that doesn’t quit thanks to the leadership of their Head Coach John Tortorella.  Travis Konecny is off to a great start and leads the team in scoring with 9 goals and three assists in 13 games.

Both The Flyers and Sixers are in action this weekend so we will discuss more this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim!  Don't forget we broadcast Live from the Caesars Sports Book inside the Tropicana Atlantic City every Sunday of the NFL season.  For NFL Week 10, we invite you to come join me, former Eagles Tight End Ken Dunek and Josh Hennig as we get you ready for some football!
