The Philadelphia 76ers look to be lost without Joel Embiid on the floor.  Even though the 2023 NBA MVP met with the media on Thursday, there is no guarantee when Embiid will return.  The Sixers are a completely different team without him.  In 24 games this season without Embiid, the Sixers are 7-17 and have 12 losses in their last 16 games.

The Flyers have another big weekend coming up with a Friday Night matchup against the Capitals in Washington, DC, and then back home against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday Night.  The Caps are currently on the outside looking in of the Eastern Conference playoffs, trailing the Flyers by six points in the standings.  It’s an important game for the Flyers who will be without their newly acquired defenseman Jamie Drysdale and they are hoping for Travis Konecny to return this weekend.

The Phillies continue 2024 Spring Training in Clearwater and we will talk about it all this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim.

On Saturday’s show, Mike Carlin and Producer Nick Earnshaw join me in the studio as we look at all the big stories with our local sports teams.  In Hour Two, The Sports Book Consigliere Dave Sharapan checks in from Las Vegas with his unique perspective on sports.  Plus, Ocean City High School and Mainland Regional Boys Basketball teams square off Saturday for the Group 3 South Jersey Championship, we will preview the game.

On Sunday’s Show, The Locker Room Youth Movement is back in studio.  Producer Danny Ryan and "The Intern” Andrew Leeds join me for a spirited discussion on the Flyers, Sixers, Phillies, and Eagles!  Plus we will be announcing our upcoming plans for a live broadcast at Realty Remediation in Marmora, New Jersey on March 16th.

All that and more, this weekend in The Locker Room with Billy Schweim, heard every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to Non on 973 ESPN Radio South Jersey
