The Eagles are going in to today's game with the Ravens a bit short-handed,  but should have the services of DeSean Jackson for next weeks game with the Giants.

According to ESPN'S Adam Schefter, Jackson will make his return from his troublesome hamstring injury on Thursday Night.

Jackson who has been in and out of the lineup since returning to Philadelphia, was being counted on to provide Carson Wentz a big-play threat downfield, something the Eagles sorely lack without him.

The veteran wide out missed most of last season with a core muscle injury,  and most of this season with a hamstring injury.

Without him the Eagles lack a veteran presence at wide receiver and a deep threat.

Getting him back would provide be a big boost to the passing game and give Wentz another option down the field that he currently doesn't have.

The duo hooked up in opening day last season in Washington,  but have failed to connect again since, do in large part because of Jackson's injuries.
