Berlin Brewing Company Closing in South Jersey

In what is becoming a sad trend, another local brewery has announced it is closing.

Last week, Whims Brewing in Atco announced they would be closing at the end of the year.

Now, Berlin Brewery Company, located at 221 White Horse Pike in Berlin, made the announcement that they would be closing. The brewery thanked many people who helped make it a great place to hang out since opening in 2015.

"It is with very heavy hearts, we've made the difficult decision to close Berlin Brewing, " husband-and-wife owners Eddie and Michele posted.

No official closing date was posted, but they added, "We're not quite ready to call this goodbye. We don't know what comes next, but we still know there is still some Berlin Brewing left in us."

The brewery made a name for itself, building a strong local following for its diverse beer lineup, live music, and community-focused atmosphere.

I stopped by the brewery once (it was actually the same day I visited Whims) and was able to sample the Boro 30 coffee stout, Moonwalker cream ale, and the Sidepiece Pils, which is their flagship American Pilsner.
