Coach Cassidy

Before being named head coach at La Salle in 2004, John Giannini was the head coach at Rowan University in Glassboro. The current coach, Joe Cassidy was the assistant to Giannini in the late 90's before taking over when Giannini left for Maine and Philadelphia.. Cassidy joined Tyler Donohue on today's show to talk about the Explorers run to the Sweet 16. Cassidy has spoken to Giannini a few times since they received the bid and told us that he's been doing nothing but watching film playing 3 games in 5 nights.

Khari Harley

Last weekend, Ocean City High School hosted the Prime Events All-Star basketball game featuring the top boys and girls basketball players in our area. The MVP of the boys game Khari Harley joined Donohue on SJ Sports Report. Harley, a standout for EHT scored 18 points and added nine rebounds for Team Feraco as they defeated Team Allen 99-96 in double overtime. Harley is a senior at EHT, read more about him here.

St. Augustine Baseball

Probably the team to beat in the Cape-Atlantic-League, Mike Bylone's Hermits certainly has a target on their backs. Tyler Donohue had a conference-like rapid fire call with five of their star players, four of whom are committed to Division-1 programs. Joe Gatto, Zach Warren, Chris Oakley, Mike Elfreth, Barry Buchowski all joined Donohue to preview the season.

Jason Mazda

Atlantic City Press reporter called in and helped preview the top high school lacrosse teams in our area. It's a relatively new sport in South Jersey, Mazda thinks Absegami, EHT and Middle Township are three teams to watch this season. Oakcrest may be a sleeper team in the league as well. Oakcrest went 9-9 last season and has a few players returning. Follow Mazda on Twitter.
