Stiffer Punishment for Steroids?
Mike Gill puts on his Bud Selig hat' today and talks about the steroid and PED punishment in MLB today and says that the punishment and penalty for it needs to be much stiffer. Not only is his punishment '2 strikes and you're out,' but he wants to take away MVP/Awards, All-Star Game and the chance to be inducting in the HOF. Gill wants to take away any legacy of that player. Todd Ranck agrees for the most part, but thinks a little more leniency is needed.

At 4:00 today the franchise tag deadline passed and as expected the Eagles did not use it on any of their free agents. KC Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe was not tagged either, but that's because he signed a long term deal with the team. Any chance of the Eagles signing a 'bigger, taller' WR went out the window. The NFL free agency period is set to begin March 12th and Mike Gill goes over his list of free agents the Eagles need to take a look at.

The 5:00 hour opens up with Mike Gill talking about Andrew Bynum and the possibility of surgery. Tony DiLeo spoke on CSN Philadelphia over the weekend and told Dei Lynam that surgery is an option. With surgery, Bynum could be out some of next season as well. Gill also talks about Adam Aron and the way the Sixers have handled the situation.
Called in from Clearwater, FL to talk some Phillies Spring Training. Domonic Brown has swung the bat very well and it should excited the fans because they need a young position player with an older lineup said Lawrence. On left field: Ruf is off to a slow start at the plate, it could be pressing/inexperience, Mayberry isnt a starter for the long haul so it depends on when Delmon Young gets healthy and what he can give you. Lawrence also believes that Ben Revere could be your new leadoff man, he's an injection of new life in this lineup. Follow Lawrence on Twitter.
