Carter Hart held down the two-goal lead for the final two periods, making 39 saves as the Flyers claimed a 3-1 win over the Capitals on Saturday night.
There was only one goal needed in the third period, as the Capitals grabbed the lead with 10:41 to play and held on from there in a 4-1 decision over the Flyers aided by two empty-net goals.
The Flyers have won two of four games on the current five-game homestand. The Capitals come to town for the final game of the homestand on Wednesday night.
