Owen Tippett scored the go-ahead goal with 5:33 left in the third, as the Flyers beat the Blues on Monday to sweep a three-game road trip.

The Blues were able to outlast the Flyers on Tuesday night, 4-2, resulting in the Flyers fourth straight defeat.

The Blues got the lead back 42 seconds after the Flyers tied the game on a goal by Vladimir Tarasenko and held things down the rest of the way in a 4-1 defeat for the Flyers on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Center for their sixth straight loss.

The Flyers got the first goal of the game again and Giroux and van Riemsdyk finally got on the board as the Flyers picked up a 4-1 win over the Blackhawks.

The season series between the Flyers and Blackhawks will wrap on Thursday night as the Flyers look to build on Monday's win.

After a fairly sloppy and wide-open first period against the Blackhawks, the Flyers started to tighten things up in the second and third periods, playing a solid all-around game. It's only the first step to having a better start than in years past, but very early on you saw the potential the Flyers have to offer.
