After a lifeless third period against the Sharks that capped off a ninth-straight loss and was followed with a closed-door meeting, you would think there would be some more inspired play by the Flyers. Not even close, as the Flyers displayed a similar lifeless and uninspired approach in a 3-0 loss to the Bruins for their 10th straight loss on Saturday.

Dave Hakstol tried to put a positive spin on the Flyers seventh straight loss. There’s a lot of losing going on for the Flyers. And until there’s a win, there won’t be any silver lining or positives to look at.

The Flyers managed to nearly erase a 5-2 deficit in the final minutes of the third period, only to fall just short at the hands of two calls that turned the momentum and tide of the game in their 5-4 loss to the Ottawa Senators. Here is the Postgame Review.
