Forwards Cole Bardreau, Greg Carey, Phil Varone and Danick Martel as well as defenseman T.J. Brennan were placed on waivers on Friday. Martel was claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Lightning while the other four cleared, bringing the Flyers roster to 36 players.

Phantoms forward Danick Martel and defenseman T.J. Brennan have been selected as participants in the AHL All-Star Classic, set to take place in Utica, NY on Jan. 28-29.

Defenseman Brandon Manning and goalie Michal Neuvirth were placed on injured reserve. Specifics of the injuries was not disclosed, but both will be out a minimum of seven days as a result. To fill out the roster, the Flyers have recalled defenseman T.J. Brennan and goalie Alex Lyon from the Phantoms.
