
Research Says This Is The Best Adult Cocktail According To New Jersey
For thousands of years, mixologists have been creating and serving mixed adult drinks. Even in Homer's Iliad, a slave girl served a wine drink concoction, showing how far back we have documentation of mixed drinks for adults to consume.

The Coffeeness team gathered Google search data and analyzed the information to rank the most popular mixed drinks in the United States. The biggest takeaway from their research according to their press release is that Americans "prefer cocktails with a spritzy, zesty, sweet and/or spicy taste over cocktails with a creamy taste."
What Is The Most Popular Adult Cocktail in New Jersey?
The result of Coffeeness' research says that The Garden States' favorite mixed drink is the Aperol Spritz. They found New Jersey is becoming more interested in drinks with bitters in recent years.
Aperol Spritz is the most popular Cocktail in 22 States according to the data obtained by Coffeeness. The second most popular drink in America is a Margarita, the favorite of 17 states.
Their research says that these two mixed drinks are most popular in states with large Italian-American and Hispanic-American Populations. Also, states that have traditional hot summers and are Summer Vacation Destinations have a preference for Aperol Spritz and Margaritas.

*Aperol Spritz: 22 states (Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, and California highlight the list along with New Jersey)
*Margarita: 17 (Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina)

*Moscow Mule: 7 (Utah, Wyoming, Idaho)
*Mimosa: 3 (South Carolina)
*Mai Tai: 1 (Hawaii)
*Mojito: 1 (Arkansas)
*Sidecar: 1 (Oklahoma)
Some states had more than one popular cocktail according to Coffeeness research. That list of states includes Washington (Aperol Spritz, Negroni), Nevada (Old Fashioned, Mimosa, Aperol Spritz), Montana (Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule), and Wisconsin (Mimosa, Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, Margarita).
