
Wildwoods Weekend: Boots at the Beach and Firemen’s Parade
Local summer is officially here, so while the crowds might be gone, the fun is not, here are a few Wildwoods weekend events to check out.
There are a ton of things to do in the Wildwoods if you are looking for something fun down the shore with what should be perfect weather all weekend.
Live Music and Line Dancing at Seaport Pier
The two-day Boots at the Beach is being held at the Seaport Pier, North Wildwood, with live acts on Friday and Saturday, plus line dancing lessons by DJ Ashley Rose, plus plenty of vendors

A one-day pass to either day is just $10, and a two-day pass is $15. They are available at the entrance to Seaport Pier.
New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention and Parade
It is also the 140th Annual New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention, which draws thousands of visitors from across the Garden State, making it a celebratory atmosphere at the Wildwood Convention Center for some family-friendly fun.

There is a parade on Saturday at 2 p.m. from New Jersey and Cresse Avenues and proceeds north to 21st Avenue. There will be firetrucks from around the state on display and plenty of merchandise vendors at Fox Park.
Whether you’re dancing at Seaport Pier or cheering at the parade, the Wildwoods have plenty to keep your weekend lively.
