In Sunday's Eagles win over the Giants, Philadelphia as a team rushed for 193 Yards on 39 Carries.  That is the most Rushing Yards Allowed by the New York Giants defense since December 27, 2015 and a major catalyst in the Eagles rushing attack was LeGarrette Blount.  Blount averaged 5.58 Yards Per Carry as he got 12 touches and a Rushing Touchdown in NFL Week 3.  In his career, he has averaged 4.4 Yards Per Attempt on 1,194 Rush Attempts over eight seasons.

13-Year NFL Wide Receiver and NBC Sports Radio Host Amani Toomer joined Mike Gill on Wednesday and discussed the Eagles Rushing Attack led by LeGarrette Blount:

“The fact that (the Eagles) ran the ball against such a good Run Defense in the Giants I think that’s important.  Giving the ball to LeGarrette Blount was one of the main issues, he really was a real catalyst to everything, he needs to get a lot of credit for the way he runs and how his running style kind of went on and bled into the rest of the (Eagles’) Running Backs.  I think the way they ran was very impressive.”
