The Philadelphia Eagles are 5-2 this season but have only played two games at Lincoln Financial Field this season. But they play two of their four games in November at home starting this Sunday.

The Eagles will host a Jacksonville Jaguars that is having a disappointing season. Former Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson is in his third season as Jags HC but the team is just 2-6 this season with a defense that is 5th worst in the NFL in Points Per Game Against (28).

After some concerns about the Eagles Health coming out of the win in Cincinnati over the Bengals, Philadelphia will welcome back one starter on offense and will be without one defensive starter.

What Eagles Will Be Unavailable For Sunday's Game Versus Jacksonville

Philadelphia has ruled out two players after neither starter practiced all week. The least surprising name is Tight End Dallas Goedert. Since sustaining a Hamstring Injury in NFL Week 6, Goedert has not practiced the last three weeks.

Most Hamstring Injuries require a four to six-week recovery period, so there is still hope that Goedert returns for the Eagles' matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on November 10th. Remember that AJ Brown did not practice for almost three weeks before he started to ramp up for his return from a Hamstring Strain.

The other starter the Eagles ruled out for this Sunday's game is Cornerback Darius Slay. The 33-year-old has dealt with multiple physical ailments this season and is now dealing with a Groin Injury.

Without Slay, the Eagles are expected to start Isaiah Rodgers at Outside Corner across from Quinyon Mitchell. Rodger got plenty of First Team reps during Training Camp in August and made the play in the Bengals game that led to CJ Gardner-Johnson's Interception.

The Eagles will welcome starting Right Guard Mekhi Becton back after missing last week's game because of a Concussion. Becton has participated in practice on Thursday and Friday so he should be up-to-speed for this Sunday's game.

The only other Eagles player not named Goedert or Slay who did not practice was Wide Receiver DeVonta Smith. Eagles Insider John McMullen told The Sports Bash with Mike Gill on Friday that Smith missed practice due to a Personal Issue and is expected to be available for the game versus Jacksonville.

The Jacksonville Jaguars ruled out three players for the game against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Jags will be without two offensive starters: Wide Receiver Christian Kirk and Left Guard Ezra Cleveland.

Kirk underwent surgery this week to repair a Broken Collarbone and is expected to miss the rest of the 2024 NFL season. Cleveland missed all three days of practice this week as he deals with an Ankle Injury.

The Jaguars have several offensive starters listed as Questionable for this Sunday's game in Philadelphia. Running Back Tank Bigsby is dealing with an Ankle Injury while RB Travis Etienne was Limited at Practice as he hopes to return from a Hamstring Injury.

Wide Receivers Gabe Davis and Brian Thomas Jr. are both listed as Questionable also for the game at Lincoln Financial Field. Davis has been dealing with a lingering Shoulder Injury for weeks while Thomas Jr. is dealing with what the Jags are calling a Chest Issue.

We do know that at Lincoln Financial Field this Sunday you will see these New Jersey Ladies on the field as members of the Eagles Cheerleader Squad:

The 10 NJ Girls Cheering for the 2024 Philadelphia Eagles

Even though they perform in Philadelphia, New Jersey will be well-represented on the 2024-2025 Eagles cheerleading squad.
