Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk has been mentioned in trade talks and with the NHL trade deadline coming Monday, he has made it clear that he wants to stay with the Philadelphia Flyers.

The former second overall pick in the draft has been hampered by injuries all season long, and seems like he is finally getting healthy.  His name is often mentioned in trade talks due to his age and his potential that made him the number two overall pick.  Many Flyers fans will remember Van Riemsdyk's outstanding run in last year's playoffs.

Van Riemsdyk told Philly.com:  "This is where I want to be. Obviously, I like all the guys on the team," he said. "I just want to play my game and focus on hockey and what I can control. Coming back from an injury, I just want to play consistently. Just play as well as I can and the rest will take care of itself."
