Turns out nothing gets past Middle Township goalkeeper Tanner Kerr, including 97.3 ESPN's High School Athlete of the Week honors. Tanner's stellar season so far helped him take last week's award.

Frank Woolley, Football, Ocean City - The senior running back powered the Red Raiders to win No. 1 of the 2013 season. Woolley rushed for 185 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-39 victory over Middle Township.

 

Tom Flacco, Football, Eastern - The younger brother of Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco has created his own quarterback legacy in South Jersey. The Vikings' senior star completed 20 of 28 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns in a 44-21 victory over Clearview. In the process, he became the second player in South Jersey history to pass for 6,000 career yards.

 

David Hood, Football, Absegami - The Temple commit steamrolled Egg Harbor Township early and often during a 41-7 win. Hood, who had 200 yards rushing before halftime, finished with 262 yards and five scores.

 

Hannah Richman, Soccer, Egg Harbor TownshipThe senior standout rose up in a key situation for the Eagles. Richman registered three goals in a 4-1 win over Millville. Her hat trick helped EHT clinch the CAL American Conference title.

 

Jose Tabora, Football, St. Augustine - The sophomore quarterback continues to lead the Cape-Atlantic League in passing after a phenomenal performance against Bridgeton. He completed 14 passes for 225 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-12 win.
