With the score tied 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday, newly acquired Asdrubal Cabrera hit a two-run homer to lead the Phillies to a sweep over the Marlins, on Sunday.

Cabrera connected on the go-ahead, 415-foot, two-run homer to help lead the Phillies to their fifth straight win, before heading out west to face the Diamondbacks.

The Phillies win wrapped up a quick four-game homestand in which they swept past the Marlins. They’ll start a six-game road trip on Monday in Arizona, a trip that will include a stop San Diego, before they host the Red Sox back in Philadelphia on August 14th.

The win left the Phillies 1.5 games ahead of Atlanta in the National League East race.
