Dave Weinberg’s Rams-Eagles 2-minute drill
Eagles’ best number: 2 (Defensive takeaways, their first of the season).
Eagles’ worst number: 0 (Third-down conversions in 12 attempts).

I prepped for the game by playing in the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce golf tournament at Avalon Golf Club Saturday. Our team didn’t win, but probably had the most fun.
Three stars
- Rams running back Kyreen Williams (2 touchdowns, including the game-winner).
- Eagles wide receiver Darius Cooper (2 touchdown catches).
- Rams linebacker Byron Young (2.5 sacks).
Eagles’ best play
Wide receiver Darius Cooper made a spectacular catch in the end zone for an 18-yard touchdown that gave the Eagles a 13-3 lead.
Eagles’ worst play
A makeshift offensive line struggled for much of the game, allowing four sacks.
Turning point
Despite a rash of injuries, the Eagles owned a 20-10 lead through three quarters before being outscored 14-0 in the fourth. Williams capped the game-winning drive with a 7-yard TD with 1:07 left.
Did you notice? Pro bowl right tackle Lane Johnson missed the game for personal reasons. They were already missing wide receiver Devonta Smith and linebacker Zack Baun, plus Dallas Goedert and Marcus Epps. Rookie Markel Bell started in Johnson’s place and struggled.… Running back Saquon Barkley and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell were among players who got hurt in the game on Sunday. Barkley hurt his hamstring on the first series.… Place-kicker Jake Elliott made a 56-yard field goal.… Safety Andrew Makuba and cornerback Cooper DeJean had interceptions for the Eagles. … Eagles coach Nick Sirianni entered the game with a 4-0 record vs the Rams.
