The Philadelphia Eagles are on a five-game winning streak since their Bye Week. The winning streak coincides with the Eagles making a specific lineup change on the defensive side of the ball.

Since the Eagles began starting Rookie Cooper DeJean at the Nickel Position, the Defense is allowing just 13 Points Per Game.  This season, the Philadelphia Defense is top five in the NFL in the fewest Total Yards Allowed.

DeJean was the Eagles second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He has made clutch plays againt some of the best Wide Receivers in the NFL over the last five weeks including the Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase and the Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb.

One of his teammates decided to serenade DeJean with an impromptu song to celebrate his performance in the Eagles' win over the Cowboys in NFL Week 10.

This Eagles Defensive Back Sings To Cooper DeJean

You may not know this, but Eagles Starting Safety CJ Gardner-Johnson has a musical career along with his Professional Football Career.  Under the name Ceedy Duce, the man Eagles' fans call CJGJ has four produced songs on his YouTube Music Channel and dropped his first single in 2023.

CJ Gardner-Johnson said in a recent interview that his biggest musical inspirations are Future, Lil Wayne, and DJ Khaled along with being a big fan of Kendrick Lamar. So it should be no surprise that CJGJ decided to serenade Cooper DeJean with this impromptu song:

I love the fact that CJGJ decided to sample Michael Jackson's Billie Jean for this impromptu song.  DeJean was thoroughly entertained by his veteran teammate singing about him, even when CJGJ made fun of the Rookie.

We NEED Ceedy to get into the studio to make a full version of the Cooper DeJean song.  I guarantee it would become as popular as Jason Kelce's Christmas albums.

Yes, Cooper DeJean is just a Rookie, but if he can maintain this level of play during his career in an Eagles uniform, he will become one of the best defensive players in Franchise History.  He would join this list of recent great Eagles players who will soon join the Eagles Hall of Fame:
