Each week, 973 ESPN South Jersey and Prime Events are bringing you the chance to vote for the South Jersey High School Athlete of the Week. We want to recognize some of the great student-athletes from around the Cape Atlantic League with several nominees each week. The winner of the last week's voting for the South Jersey Athlete of the Week is Ocean City High School Swimmer Pat Armstrong.

Check out this week's nominees below and then check out who won this week's voting for the South Jersey High School Athlete of the Week:

*Kaitlyn Boggs, Mainland Regional - The Senior scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Mustangs to their second Cape Atlantic League Championship in the last four basketball tournaments. She was named the game's MVP winner!

*Semaj Bethea, St. Augustine Prep - This Sophomore made a 30-foot shot at the buzzer to win the CAL Semifinal versus Holy Spirit and then he did it again three days later, hitting a three at the buzzer to send the CAL Championship game into Overtime.

*Cohen Cook, Mainland Regional - The Sophomore scored a career-high 26 points, including hitting two important free throws, to lead the Mustangs to their first CAL Basketball Tournament title. He was named the game's MVP winner and has scored 20 or more points in each of his last six games.

*James Haney, Atlantic City High School - This Sophomore broke five school records in swimming this season. He won the 200-meter freestyle at the Cape Atlantic League Meet and holds the butterfly, individual medley, and three freestyle marks for the Vikings.

*Jake Slotnick, St. Augustine Prep - The Junior won the Region 8 wrestling title at 150 pounds. He improved his season record at 150-157 lbs to 20 wins and just 2 losses and advances into the State Championships this weekend in Atlantic City.

*Brock Zurawski, Lower Cape May - This Junior won the 165-pound title at Region 8, improving his record to 30-0 this season. The Rider University recruit has 21 pins this season and will wrestle again this weekend in Atlantic City.
