Winter Village Returns To Kickoff South Jersey Christmas Season

When Thanksgiving is over, get into the Christmas spirit this weekend by visiting one of the most unique holiday season festivals in South Jersey featuring activities for all ages.

On Friday, November 24th and Saturday, November 25th is the return of the Winter Village at The Ludlam for the second year as part of South Jersey's Black Friday and Small Business Saturday in Sea Isle City.  There will be Ice Skating, Holiday Vendors, and Live Music, and kids can visit Santa Claus in the Family Tent.

Amy Glancey is the Chief Marketing Officer for Shorebreak Resorts (Parent company of the Ludlam Hotel Bar and Grill) is excited for the second year for the Winter Village when I spoke to her:

"This year will include more music, vendors, and crafts for children....Our first annual Winter Village was a huge success and a wonderful weekend for families who spend Thanksgiving Weekend in Sea Isle City and we are thrilled to offer this festive kickoff to the holidays once again."

Here is a breakdown of the festivities this weekend at the corner of JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue in Sea Isle City:

*The Ice Skating Rink will be open from 11 am to 9 pm on Friday and 11 am to 7 pm on Saturday for just $5 you get a skates rental and can enjoy this classic Winter Activity

*Kids can visit Santa Claus in the family Tent on Friday from 1230 pm to 130 pm and then on Saturday from 330 pm to 430 pm. Also, in the Family Tent, there will be live Entertainment with Festive DJ on Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm then on Saturday is Celtic Christmas Music from 1 pm to 3 pm followed by Dueling Pianos from 5 pm to 9 pm.

*The Holiday Vendors will be set up for visitors to get a jump start on their holiday shopping from 11 am to 6 pm both Friday and Saturday. Here is a list of the Vendors who have been confirmed for the Winter Village this weekend:

On top of all of the above, Sea Isle Spiked Iced Tea will be on location with Tastings and Photos Ops with their Blowup Chair throughout the day.  Plus, there will be Live Entertainment inside the Ludlam Lounge featuring Matt Quinton (Friday from 730 pm to 1130 pm and Saturday 230 pm to 630 pm), Jim Bannach (Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm) and Kingsley (Saturday from 7 pm to 11 pm).
