The Pleasantville Greyhounds came out fast, scoring the first six points of the game at the Battle by the Bay.  Guard Phil Polanco hit a pair of three-pointers to open the game but that's pretty much the most memorable part of the game for the Greyhounds.

After a 16-16 first quarter, Atlantic City outscored Pleasantville 39-13 in the second and third to help cruise to a 69-41 win in the Battle by the Bay finale.

Pleasantville head coach Kenny Johnson talked about what his Greyhounds could take from this loss.

Atlantic city really took control of the game in the third quarter, they came out after a lengthy halftime (more on that) and extended a 12 point lead into a 28 point lead with a 17-3 quarter.

The Vikings got a big game from junior Leon Daniels, who scored 17 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Daniels has played in the Battle by the Bay, but that was as a member of the Holy Spirit Spartans. The 6-foot-4 Daniels transferred from Spirit to Atlantic City - this was his first ever Atlantic City vs Pleasantville game.
