The South Jersey Sports Report Expands to Three-Hour Format
February 28, 2013 When we debuted on St. Patrick's Day 2012, the obvious question was whether or not our show would gain a solid foundation of followers.
Did community athletic rivalries still captivate people like in generations past? Would listeners identify with a high school senior describing how he juggles the pressures of chasing a state title and persistent college recruiting?
These are the answers we've attempted to uncover in the past 11 months and thus far the results have been humbling

Southern Regional Hockey Standout Ryan Rowland Voted High School Athlete of the Week
February 25, 2013 The latest 97.3 ESPN High School Athlete of the Week poll featured four veteran basketball standouts on the doorstep of league championship games. Despite the excitement surrounding Saturday's Cape-Atlantic League hoops championships, it was a freshman ice hockey player who came out on top after nearly 30,000 total votes were counted
