A Super Sports Weekend Leading Into The Big Game

Super Bowl Weekend is finally here!!  Three years ago, the Philadelphia Eagles were preparing for Super Bowl LII, all Birds Fans remember all the hype and excitement leading up to the big game.  What a difference three years makes: The Eagles now seem so far away from making another run at winning the Super Bowl.  The team just hired their third new Head Coach in the last 10 years while they are entertaining offers to trade their embattled Quarterback Carson Wentz.  Thank God our Flyers and Sixers are competitive this year in their sports.

The Sixers have a big test on Saturday Night as they will face the star laden Brooklyn Nets, both teams with over 60 percent win percentage this season.  Meanwhile, the Flyers are in the middle of a tough four game stretch with Friday Night being the second half of consecutive games versus the Boston Bruins and next up is two in a row against the Washington Capitals.

On Sunday, after the Flyers take on the Caps, it's Super Bowl LV featuring Tom Brady leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against last season's Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs.  Definately a super weekend of sports for sure!
