Meet the Expert: Antoinette Wood

Antoinette has over 30 years’ experience in the fitness industry. She started by teaching Step Aerobics at the age of eighteen. She is certified in Les Mills Body Pump, Spinning, TRX, Bender Ball, Pilates, Step Aerobics, Resist-A-Ball and PUMPIN’ Iron. Antoinette’s role as Group Exercise Coordinator at the JCC affords her the opportunity to meet with a wide variety of members who are at different levels in their fitness capabilities. When Antoinette is asked, “Why JCC group exercise?”, her response is, “The answer is simple. We have put together an amazing team of group exercise instructors who provide a wide array of group classes that will help you reach your fitness goals.” The JCC offers over 85 group fitness classes per week, including Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Meditation, PUMPIN’ Iron, Piloxing, Yoga, Pilates, indoor cycling, Zumba, Aquasize classes, Step n’ Sculpt and so much more!
