Battle at the Beach Football Schedule is Set for 2022 Event

The 2022 Battle at the Beach schedule as been set.

The three-day event, which is played at Ocean City High School's Carey Stadium, will be in its second season, kicking off the 2022 season.

Some great matchups highlight the 2022 card, which will kick off on Friday Aug 26 at 10 a.m. with the Mainland Mustangs facing their old Thanksgiving rival Egg Harbor Twp. The rest of the first day will feature Cedar Grove against Salem, Downington West vs Williamstown and Neshamity takes on Ocean City at 7 p.m.

On Saturday Wayne Valley takes on Dleran at 10:30 a.m., followed by Toms River North against Washington Twp. A huge game on Saturday evening features St. Peter's Prep taking on St. Augustine Prep at 4:30 and Arch Bishop Wood takes on Red Bank Catholic at 7:30.

Some of the other games that have been added to the final schedule include South Jersey Group IV regional champion, Millville taking on Roman Catholic on Sunday at 11 a.m. Holy Spirit taking on Cherokee at 2 p.m. on Sunday and the final game of the Battle at the Beach features Edison against Group III Regional champion Cedar Creek.

Sounds like an unbelievable weekend of football on the boardwalk in Ocean City!
