Ventnor resident and Holy Spirit alum Greg Roman, who sat out the 2023 NFL season, interviewed with the Chicago Bears about their vacant offensive coordinator job according to FOX Sports’ Peter Schrager.

Roman held the same title with the Baltimore Ravens from 2019-2022.

Roman worked closely with multiple mobile quarterbacks like Lamar Jackson and Colin Kaepernick and could be working with Justin Fields if he lands the Bears gig.

Chicago has the No. 1 overall pick and could move on from FIelds and draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams.

Roman, 51, has been around the league since 1995, coaching with multiple teams in addition to Baltimore, he has coached in Buffalo, San Francisco, Houston, and Carolina.
