Nothing beats a perfectly cooked steak at a great steakhouse.

While there are plenty of great spots in South Jersey, one South Jersey steakhouse was named one of the 25 best steakhouses in America, according to chefs by the website Eat This, Not That!

Which steakhouse was recognized as one of the best?

While many people might guess it is an Atlantic City steakhouse in one of the casinos, that honor actually goes to The Libray II, located at 306 Route 73 in Voorhees Township.

Here is what one of the chefs asked had to say about Library II

Vincent Olmo recommends Library II in Voorhees, N.J. The chef of Vela at YOTEL Miami, he explains, "You can order from a walk-up window, where they cut your steak right in front of you," adding that the restaurant has a cozy ambiance, featuring full bookshelves, low lighting, and a great salad bar. "The quality of the meat is fantastic," Olmo notes. "The chefs have perfected the amount of char on each cut of steak, and the ambiance is unmatched."

The Library II came in at No. 12 on the list of the Top 25 in the county and was the only steakhouse in New Jersey that made the list.

If you can't make it to Library II, you can also visit LB One at 6605 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township.

The top spot on the list?  Keens Steakhouse in New York City has that honor, with The Smoke House in Burbank, CA, coming in next at No. 2.
