Flyers head into Wednesday Night down 2-1 in their 2018 NHL Playoffs series versus the Penguins.  In these three game the Flyers have accumulated 44 Penalty Minutes leading to four Power Play Goals by the Penguins.  Overall the Flyers have been outscored 13-6 versus Pittsburgh in the 2018 NHL Playoffs while Philadelphia has now lost to in six of their seven match-ups with Pittsburgh between the regular season and postseason.

Former Flyers All-Star Forward Danny Briere joined The Sports Bash on Tuesday and discussed the Flyers being more disciplined heading into Game Four:

“I think we have to do a better job trying to limit the amount of times we put ourselves in that position where (we wonder) ‘Is that a Slash? Is that not a Slash?’  We know the rules, (the referees are) looking for it especially early in the Playoffs, they want to set the tone – We cannot give the Pittsburgh Penguins so many Power Plays, with the talent that they have throughout the lineup, you’re playing with fire when you do that.”
