Sadly, another local brewery has announced it is closing its doors for good.

Popular Brotherton Brewing Company announced Monday morning that they'll be closing at the end of this month, with the final day being March 30.

Sharing the news via its social media sites, the Brotheroton Brewery team didn't give a specific reason for closing but thanked its employees and customers for 10 amazing years in business.

"It has been one hell of a ride. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of it." The brewery stated in the post.

The letter, written by owners Keith, Dan, and The Brotherton Brewing Company Team, says the time has come for them to move on.

"We could have never imagined that this small business venture, which started in 2015 with five friends in a backyard barn, would have evolved into this.

From their website:

Brotherton started as the dream of five lifelong friends to someday open a craft brewery. To push the boundaries of craft beer style and flavor and to create some of the best tasting and most exciting beers for everyone to enjoy. Many years of planning, paperwork, construction and just plain jumping through hoops, that dream is now a reality.

They will remain open for the rest of the month and even have some vents planned from now til the end of the month.

Brotherton Brewery opened at the historic Atco Firehouse at 2208 Atco Ave in Atco, right off the White Horse Pike.

Stop by and check them out before they close their doors for good at the end of the month.
