Buena Football Program has its New Head Coach

Veteran football coach Dan Conti was approved as the new head coach at Buena Regional High School during the district's board of education meeting.

Conti succeeds Jonathan Caputo, who resigned in May after nine seasons. Conti recently served as an assistant coach at Lower Cape May

The 61-year old will try to continue to keep a consistent winner at a school that has had plenty of success on the gridiron. Buena was 8-3 this past season and finished with a 56-37 record in the nine seasons under Caputo.

The Chiefs gave been one of the most successful programs in the area, capturing the 2014 Cape-Atlantic League National and the 2018 West Jersey Football League United Division titles.
