Championship Trophy heading to Sea Isle City for new attraction at Winter Village

Inviting All Philly Sports Fans to Sea Isle City for the Holidays

One of the most popular holiday events at the Jersey Shore is the annual Sea Isle City Winter Village, and this year will be hosted at Excursion Park on Friday, November 28th, and Saturday, November 29th.

Along with a Shopping Village in Heated Tents for you to get a jumpstart on your Christmas Shopping List, there will be Family Fun and Games with Photo Stations, Holiday Music, a Food Court, plus the opportunity for the kids to visit with Santa Claus.

This will be the second straight year the Winter Village will be hosted at Excursion Park, located on JFK Boulevard, next to the Promenade in Sea Isle City. Before the Mayor's Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday Night, there is something new for the 2025 edition of the Winter Village.

The Philadelphia Eagles play the Chicago Bears in the featured Black Friday NFL game this year, and 973 ESPN, your home for the Eagles Radio Network in South Jersey, will be on site at the Winter Village in Sea Isle City with the Championship Trophy.

We will host a special Birds' Gameday Pregame Show from 12-2pm to give you the latest updates on the Black Friday showdown.  Joining Josh Hennig for this special broadcast inside the Winter Village at Excursion Park:

10-year NFL Center with the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos, Chris Myers, along with former Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver and Mainland Regional High School Graduate, Dave Klemic.

The 973 ESPN Black Friday Birds' Pregame Show at the 2025 Winter Village is being sponsored by the Sea Isle Chamber of Commerce, plus Heritage Surf and Sport. Following the live broadcast from 12-2pm, you will hear Merrill Reece and Mike Quick calling the action, and we will have the live game Eagles-Bears game broadcast on the speakers at Excursion Park.

You will have the opportunity to take pictures with the Championship Trophy at the Winter Village on Black Friday Afternoon.  Josh Hennig and the 973 ESPN Promo Team will also have prize giveaways at Halftime of the Eagles-Bears game for those in attendance at the Winter Village.

Also, before the end of the Black Friday game, Santa will arrive at the Winter Village in Sea Isle City, and around 6pm is scheduled for the Mayor's Tree Lighting Ceremony. Don't forget the Winter Village continues on Saturday, November 29th, with a second day for the Shopping Village and Food Court, along with an Ice Sculptor, Holiday Music, plus Crafts and Games for all ages to enjoy.
